Night Train

My favorite bike rider passed away on Friday April 13th, 2012. Although I never met the man, his riding heavily influenced the way I ride and why I ride. After hearing about this yesterday, I called my brother, rode some hometown spots that were going to be demolished, and felt grateful for the many heroes I still have in my life. Ride in peace Mike Tag, and thanks for everything!

Them Nyquist Boys

Them dang Nyquist boys are at it again! Ryan Nyquist is off to a good start after his long bout with a hand injury. I think I heard somewhere that he hurt it from back-handing so many people in the Santa Cruz Parks and Rec department for not fixing the Fun Spot. The park has been patched up, and so has Mr. Nyquist!

Big ups to Crazy Chris and the Salinas gang holding a jam and premiere for Yawn BMX. The video is sick, I suggest you get your hands on a copy. Seeing the big man do some stunts on the Cult site got me stoked, thought it would be best to share it with the world. And those long haired guys shred pretty good too.
