Fourohate just dropped their video from their contest in May. Eight minutes of extensive coverage. This was probably the funnest contests I've been to in a long time in terms of things to ride as well as entertainment value. The street bike sideshow was over the top. Thanks again to Dave and crew for putting that on, it was a blast. Flier for their next event on August 18th will be up soon...
Steven Mack doing the most out at the post office in Aptos! And I heard these things were bumpy...

Salinas Sunday
Can't forget our brothers down south, especially when they've got so many wonderful things to look at! Below is Jordache with a picture perfect barspin, and a couple videos Jay made. Next time I go to CVS, I'll make sure to check aisle 6 for hop whips.

Lil Buddy, Big Content
While lurking the files of Chris Riesner AKA Chris' Tumblr, I came across this road trip edit he was on that stopped through Santa Cruz. Not only did they shred, but they shredded spots that nobody seems to ride AKA Weinerschnitzel, Harbor High School, and the other spot right by Harbor. Very stoked to see that kinker at Harbor get dealt with in this video; it always seemed like a monster that could be tamed.
He was also nice enough to send over some photos from last year when we sessioned some spots in Scotts Valley.

Backyard Boogie
More like backyard shit your pants! Jackson wrote a sweet article for the Least Most about the crazy ramp set-up of Norcal's most stylish rider, Tristan Adams. Click this link and be impressed. I think I want to ride that spot more than any other skatepark in California, especially considering the current state of the fun spot. Check below for an old video of Tristan killing it and a newer one of some familiar kooks doing the same. Happy Friday morning!

Outsourced Goods
Alex displays very clearly that he could get to the princess' castle without fire, a racoon suit, or even a star that grants invincibility. All it takes is four pegs. Crazy grinds to grinds to grinds. Amazing.
I greatly enjoyed finding Waldo Allen amongst this sea of degenerates.

Weekends are anything but weak
Sometimes you gotta get out of town and do things a little differently. Thanks to Jay, Mario, Troy and Leo for showing us around the Bay(Monterey Bay, that is!) and Anthony and Mike for driving and letting me roll. Also gotta give props for the local boy Ron Dub in this video. No thanks to Lame Cunningham skatepark for only letting us ride for less than half an hour. Last time I checked, the sun stays up a little bit longer than 7:30. Embrace your Monday!

Eureka!
Originally posted on the old Solid Bikes website, this video really stuck with me for some reason. But after Solid re-did their website, I was never able to find it again... until now! It's times like this that I feel like Gus Chiggins, mining for gold. Thanks google!

Doomsday
So far I've seen no signs of internet doomsday. If this was the last web video I'd ever get a chance to see, then I think overall the internet served me, BMX, and the rest of the world pretty well.
And if the world wide web collapsed into a heap of particles, pixels and codes, then make like this dude and go on vacation with your family. Where's the beach, bro? Photo credit: Lydon George

Gypsies, Tramps and King Cobras
Life got you down? Watch this video, be stoked on bikes, stoked on friends, stoked on life. Then watch it again. And it wouldn't be a Country Clubbin' post without a shameless plug for Santa Cruzians. All hail FBM!

Rebirth of Slick...ledges that is
Made this quick edit for the LMB boys. They should be re-vamping their website soon, so check them out when you're not out on your grind. It's good to be back in Santa Cruz.
