Lil Buddy, Big Content
While lurking the files of Chris Riesner AKA Chris' Tumblr, I came across this road trip edit he was on that stopped through Santa Cruz. Not only did they shred, but they shredded spots that nobody seems to ride AKA Weinerschnitzel, Harbor High School, and the other spot right by Harbor. Very stoked to see that kinker at Harbor get dealt with in this video; it always seemed like a monster that could be tamed.
He was also nice enough to send over some photos from last year when we sessioned some spots in Scotts Valley.

Weekends are anything but weak
Sometimes you gotta get out of town and do things a little differently. Thanks to Jay, Mario, Troy and Leo for showing us around the Bay(Monterey Bay, that is!) and Anthony and Mike for driving and letting me roll. Also gotta give props for the local boy Ron Dub in this video. No thanks to Lame Cunningham skatepark for only letting us ride for less than half an hour. Last time I checked, the sun stays up a little bit longer than 7:30. Embrace your Monday!

I was too young to realize what was going on...
Stoked to see this video up, and apparently Budman has a few more oldies-but-goodies up his sleeve. I think I was like 12 or something watching this video, and the concept of Burning Man was well over my head. I just thought a chick with a robot dick was funny as fuck. Birdwell and Joey G kill it, not to mention that one guy Bryan Nicequist or something. Nor Cal Ballers!
Saw this too, figured I should post it. Joey Chernoff is a rad rider and has been rad since riding green Diamondbacks in boots. Guest appearances by Colin Moyer, Sean Seiling, and Sprinkles. Maybe somebody else too...hip.

What Would You Dew(tour)?
This kid basically dominates all the local jams and recently got 3rd at the EPIC Santa Cruz Jump Jam, so after winning the Ramp Rats Free Flow Contest on Sunday, I'm giving him some room to shine. I feel sort of weird because I don't really know Jason nor do I expect him to be down with heavy Country Club 40oz consumption, but god damn he kills it, he's from the bay, and I guess he's a pretty humble dude too. So hat's off young Jason, we salute your exceptional skills on a bike as well as the potential to eviscerate the evil forces of Mike Spinner at whatever Dew Tour you attend this year.
And I think as a legitimate blog of somewhat exclusive content, we need to make a parody of this classic Nickelodeon TV show based around doing exceptionally retarded tasks for Country Club 40's. Or a segment similar to What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar. Suggestions in the comments are more than welcome.

Merry Half Christmas Eve!
Normally I'd include a sweet picture of Santa Cruz's beloved birthday boy, but I'm at work and all the pictures I have access to involve beer, marijuana, blood, or some other troll shit. So happy birthdaybeev to Carpplebeev, I'm glad we still have you 22 years in all, even though some have tried to keep you down.
Unrelated, I've got a free bike up for grabs (as shown above). One would say that there are minor cosmetic defects. It also may need reflectors. It's a 2-hip Lino with some slight modifications: super light weight pedal (right only), emergency spacer kit, fossilized chain, and built in locking mechanisms for the back hub (good for keeping bike thieves away). Peg on the front and extra wide bars makes this an excellent 2-seater vehicle. Gold sprocket is made from real gold$$$$$$$. Anyways, normally I'd ask something but this bad boy has been taking up space at my house, crashing on the couch, and not paying rent. Needs new home, ASAP!!!
