Here we are in Madison WI where something exists that isnt known to the west coast. The magical free ATM, you put any card in and it gives you money without taking any from you.

Just saw this epic webvid of Bruno Hoffman on The Come Up moments ago. This bro always comes through with some savage moves, plus Country Clubbin' seems to gravitate towards We The People riders. Perhaps a coveted link to their website is in order. While we're at it, here's another rad edit of Bruno, tearing ass per usual!

Going down for the third year in a row. If you're sour about not winning anything, then you can always recycle the cans/bottles, which would probably amount to an astronomical sum. And if you don't have a costume, you are a barn. This was linked from Mario's blog. More details soon...

... or get whooped. Last years You Better Show Up Jam was rad ass fuck, so you know this year it's gonna be even better. I'm waiting on another flier for the Santa Cruz Halloween contest, but keep that one in mind too. Crazy Chris puts it all in for these jams, and the results are always fun and outrageous. So reserve September 18th for some Salas shredding. Here's Mike's video from last year, just in case you were a punk and decided to not show up:

Santa Cruz loves Scott the Punk, AKA Scott Buchanan.
Shortly after watching the video below, I came across this article which was a good read. Scott drinks cold milk on a hot summer day and he's from Nottingham, AKA where the Sheriff of Nottingham taxes the peasants like mad. But instead of taxing his health, he gives good reasons on being yourself. PSA's with STP in the near future? I sure hope so. If anything, I hope he comes back to America and works out with Mike.

Saw this too, figured I should post it. Joey Chernoff is a rad rider and has been rad since riding green Diamondbacks in boots. Guest appearances by Colin Moyer, Sean Seiling, and Sprinkles. Maybe somebody else too...hip.

Today was a good day. I went on a long ass bike ride on a beach cruiser which was about 20 miles round trip. Then I ate that tri-tip sandwich. And then I found an MSPaint style program free download for Mac. So here's a couple of pictures from the Santa Cruz 4 Lokos Jam that Murph took with his magic camera...
D-Block falling off the Oodoo

This little shit is practically doing the Bonedeths too, getting his scarface on by the amount of rails he's blasting down. The song sucks, but if you're at a deskjob, it won't even matter. Holler if you're bored at work.
And in case you somehow missed it, scroll below for the local heroes you'd come to expect from this site.

Jackson uploaded his new feel good movie of the summer that was epicly premiered for a select few at my house on Eddie Money day. Definitely the highlight, because Eddie Money kind of sucked this year.
Speaking of beers for breakfast and money, let's all take time to congratulate our friend Andrew for locking in a job in this tight market. So if you're Campagnolo wheelset has mad hop from jumping stairs in the middle of the AMGEN tour, your answers lie with Mr. Heath. You've made your Real Dad AKA Kelly Costello proud. Cheers!

Figured this was post worthy, as it commemorates my admiration for Solid Bikes as well as Colorado. You can't spell Colorado without RAD! Plus the bank to wall in this video is one of the sweetest spots I've ridden to the date.
Escape from Oakland took place over the weekend, and many thanks to those who put up with me or just hung in there while I traversed the concrete jungle of multiple realities. As Chris San Augustin put it, the backdrop resembled a mix of Waterworld, Mad Max, and Suicide Girls, and the amount of alcohol absorbed into my consciousness was like navigating a map by MC Escher. Part of me wishes I could show you pictures of the madness, but mainly I just want to put it behind me. Props to Kweli, Cheese, and the rest of First Rule for getting us on board that wild ride!
