Here's a mix of new and old footage that I put together for Action Village/Vital BMX's video contest. Judging by my inability to be 14 years old or double whips, the prospects of this doing well look very grim. Oh well, it was fun riding and filming again. I want to thank all the homies for coming through with the cameras and the time, because I know it can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Anyways, happy Friday and remember the Salinas jam on Saturday!

Driving up to UCSC usually requires a right hand turn at Mission and Bay, the location of a hot new burger joint called Burger. (with a period). The prospect of eating a burger from Burger. was going through my mind the whole session, but when Budman said he'd buy me dinner for going Rider's Ready down these stairs, the choice of eating concrete, dirt, and/or deer shit was soon replaced by tender organic grass-fed Humboldt county beef with bacon, avo, and jack cheese.

September 8 - National Birthday Day

As it turns out, I got too excited and Kelly's birthday is actually tomorrow. However, it's this towel's birthday today, the man behind the Country Club, Mr. Triangle Head. Happy 24th birthday! Oh yeah, my Mom turns 60 today too. Sweet.

"This morning I was at Buckeye Donuts and I was sitting outside after I ate my breakfast croissant egg and cheese sandwich and there was a milk carton on the bench, like in the middle of the bench just sitting there. I wanted to sit on the bench and I was going to move the milk carton, and but then I thought wait why is there a milk carton just on the bench by itself. Is it possible that it's really a bomb? I took a stick and threw it at it but it didn't explode but I still think it was a bomb so I called the police when the cop came he said I was out of my mind that he could have me arrested for making such a stupid phone call but I said well i think it's a bomb because there is no reason for a milk carton to be sitting right in the middle of the bench by itself. I dared him to touch it though so he said look and picked it up and threw it in the trash."
