Grand Slammers

On this day in 1952, Mickey Mantle hit his very first grand-slam. Five years before, the Department of Defense formed. And it may be too early to think this Monday anything special, but I'm sure nobody predicted 67 years ago that a libido would impregnate enough starry-eyed fans to populate a small New England City; yes, Mick Jagger was born on the 26th of July. I'd like to remind everybody today that Eddie Money will be playing at the Boardwalk this Friday. So even if you're having the worst day in the history of your life, keep in mind there is always something awesome to look forward to. It might even be right around the corner.

All these dudes were shredding, hitting grand-slams in Martinez. I'll have a few pictures up soon. Thanks to Samar for hosting us at the shop, BBQing, and being an all around future mayor of Martinez.

I'm sure you can all guess why I posted this video. Don't let the San Jose footage throw you off. Three words: Crazy Chris Cameo. Plus I've never seen anybody kill the Roosevelt bowl like Chase Hawk. Grand slammers in San Jose.
